AUSTIN, TEX. — New Confederate President Donald Trump Jr. is demanding that the U.S. Smithsonian Institution remove its new “American Fascism” exhibit, which contains information about the Trump family, the MAGA movement in the former United States of America, and the various crimes committed under domestic and international law.
“My family served the United States with honor and this is the thanks we get?” Trump Jr. posted on X. “This one-sided, inaccurate portrayal of the Trump administrations is offensive and should be torn down immediately.”
The exhibit plays footage of the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection at the U.S. Capitol by former U.S. President Donald Trump’s supporters, describes the ethnic cleansing campaign by the now-shuttered U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and contains interviews from those incarcerated in the concentration camps for noncitizens.
“I lived through the atrocities. There’s no debating what happened,” Joe Walsh, U.S. ambassador to the New Confederacy, told The Alternate Times. “If we need any assistance in writing our history, we certainly won’t be seeking it from the child of the man who did this to us.”
In his social media post, Trump Jr. threatened to create an exhibit in the New Confederacy dedicated to “snowflake liberalism” and “TDS,” a reference to the non-medical term “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
