AUSTIN, TEX. — New Confederate Secretary of Criminal Alien Apprehension Stephen Miller is proposing that all visitors to the New Confederacy undergo a “character screening” to be allowed entry.
“This is a proud, honorable country that must maintain control of its borders. We simply cannot allow deviants, communists, Marxists, and woke jihadists to walk into our airports and our cities and spread their radical ideology unchecked,” Miller said during an interview with podcaster and New Confederate Secretary of War Kyle Rittenhouse.
Miller elaborated that customs employees in January will begin asking an additional set of “five to 10” questions that bear on a visitor’s admissibility to the country. According to Miller, those questions will include:
- Do you subscribe, or have you ever subscribed, to the principles of socialism?
- Do you support DEI?
- Is anyone in your immediate family transgender?
- Are you a member of a religion other than Christianity?
- Have you ever spoken critically about Israel?
“Our brave front-line border enforcers will be empowered to deny anyone entry who does not exhibit the character and values that this country stands for,” said Miller.
A spokesperson for Travel Texas said that multiple state tourism bureaus in the New Confederacy are concerned about the effects of the proposed screening.
“Travel and tourism is down post-secession, and it’s having quite an effect on local economies,” said Luke Williams. “While we have seen an increase in international visitors from Russia and the Arab world, the tourism industry would urge the government to be very careful about placing additional burdens on entering the country.”
